Drawer organisers: measure before you buy
Empty the drawer and measure the usable inside width, depth and height. Measure the narrowest part rather than the outside of the cabinet. Look for runners, screw heads or a lip that reduce the available space. A tray that fits the base may still catch when the drawer closes.
Group the objects you want to organise before choosing compartments. Long utensils need a different layout from charging cables or stationery. Adjustable trays can help, but check their minimum and maximum dimensions and whether the sides remain stable when extended.
Think about cleaning and movement. Removable sections are easier to wash, while a non-slip base can reduce sliding. Compare the exact tray dimensions and package quantity before ordering. Buying several small organisers may leave more useful space than a single oversized tray.
